What was recalled

Alexis Fire Equipment Company (Alexis Fire) is recalling certain 2020-2025 Pumper, 2024 Rescue, and 2020-2024 Tanker fire trucks built on Spartan chassis. The actuator lever arm in the Spartan cab door latch may bind or become wedged, preventing the door from opening.

What to do

Dealers will inspect and replace the door latches as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 7, 2025. Owners may contact Alexis Fire customer service at 1-309-482-6121.. Follow the official notice for full instructions.
