What was recalled

Altec Industries Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2009 Altec LSS 60 or LSS 70 Elevator Aerial devices. The elevator riser assembly may crack and fail.

What to do

Altec will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the elevator riser for cracks, repairing any that are found and install an update kit, free of charge. The recall began December 27, 2018.
