What was recalled

Altec Industries Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2017 AT Aerial Devices mounted on Ford F-550 chassis. A circuit breaker located under the hood may contact the hood, potentially resulting in an electrical short.

What to do

Altec has notified owners, and dealers will update the circuit breaker bracket and install a insulating chafe pad, free of charge. The recall began on January 12, 2018.
