Tread separation or detachment may result in a sudden loss of air pressure, increasing the risk of a crash.
What was recalled
Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations, LLC (BATO) is recalling certain FS561 replacement tires, size 255/70R22.5, manufactured January 25, 2015, to January 27, 2016 (DOT weeks 0515-0416) for use on trailers. The affected tires may experience possible tread separation or detachment due to scrubbing during use.
What to do
BATO will notify owners, and dealers will replace the tires, free of charge. The recall began on February 4, 2016. Owners may contact BATO customer service at 1-800-847-3272.. Follow the official notice for full instructions.
