Why it was recalled

The steering rack and pinion assembly can have an improper amount of grease and result in a loss of steering control and crash hazard.

What was recalled

This recall involves model year 2017 Can-Am Maverick X3 side-by-side vehicles. The vehicles came in various colors. The model name and Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) is printed on a label under the glove box. To verify if your vehicle is included in the recall, have your VIN (Vehicle identification Number) ready and contact your authorized Can-Am side-by-side dealer or BRP. Recalled models include: 2017 Can-Am Maverick X3 STD 2017 Can-Am Maverick X3 XDS 2017 Can-Am Maverick X3 XRS
