What was recalled

Carefree Of Colorado (Carefree) is recalling certain Freestyle Gearbox Housing part number: 015933-001. The gearbox may develop cracks, causing the awning to extend unintentionally.

What to do

Carefree will provide additional support for the internal components of the Gearbox Housing, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed February 6, 2024.
