What was recalled

Dennis Eagle Inc. (Dennis Eagle) is recalling certain 2017-2018 Dennis Eagle Elite refuse trucks equipped with reverse alarm mute switches. Using the reverse alarm mute switch will prevent the truck from beeping when the vehicle is in reverse.

What to do

Dennis Eagle will notify owners, and dealers will remove the reverse alarm mute switch and install a blanking plate, free of charge. The recall began January 21, 2019.
