What was recalled

Dexter Axle Company (Dexter Axle) is recalling certain Torsion Trailer Axles, models #10, #10F and #11. The brake mounting flanges may be incorrectly oriented, possibly resulting in premature brake failure.

What to do

Dexter Axle will notify the trailer manufacturers that purchased the axles, and dealers for those manufacturers will inspect the axles and replace the entire axle, as necessary, free of charge.
