A sudden loss of the rear brakes increases the risk of a crash or injury.
What was recalled
Ducati North America (Ducati) is recalling certain 2025 Ducati Panigale S/STD V4 motorcycles. Excessive heat may damage the rear brake hose between the ABS control unit and brake caliper, resulting in a sudden loss of the rear brakes.
What to do
Dealers will reinstall the thermal shield, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 17, 2025. Owners may contact Ducati customer service at 1-888-391-5446. Ducati's number for this recall is CR285.. Follow the official notice for full instructions.
