Why it was recalled
In the event of a crash, if the cushions do not inflate properly, they may not provide the intended protection to the occupant, increasing the risk of injury.
What was recalled
E-One Incorporated (E-One) is recalling certain 2019 Typhoon and Cyclone II fire trucks. Due to improper manufacturing, the cushion of the Inflatable Head Cushion (IHC) and Knee Air Bag (KAB) may detach during a deployment event and not inflate.
What to do
E-One will notify owners, and dealers will replace the air bags, free of charge. The recall began November 12, 2019. Owners may contact E-One customer service at 1-352-861-3612.. Follow the official notice for full instructions.
