What was recalled

East Manufacturing Corp. (East) is recalling certain 2016-2018 Frame Dump trailers built with a pintle hook or brackets for the future installation of a pintle hook. Cracks may develop in the cross member that the pintle hook is connected to, possibly resulting in the cross member failing.

What to do

East will notify owners, and dealers will weld any cracks and install reinforcing plates to the cross member, or replace the cross member, as necessary.
