Why it was recalled

A lamp that overheats increases the risk of injury or fire.

What was recalled

ECCO is recalling certain portable and magnetically mountable LED Worklamps, part numbers EW2461 and EW2461-NA, manufactured October 1, 2014, to February 11, 2015. The affected work/utility lamps are powered by a rechargeable Lithium-ion battery that can be charged using a vehicle charger (12 volt adapter) or an AC adapter. These lamps may overheat.

What to do

ECCO will notify owners and will replace the worklamps, free of charge. The recall began on November 6, 2015. Owners may contact ECCO customer service at 1-800-635-5900.. Follow the official notice for full instructions.
