Why it was recalled
The bottom portion of glass vessel can break when heated and the contents can spill, posing laceration and burn hazards.
What was recalled
The Primula® Borosilicate two-quart clear glass round kettle has no markings or etchings on the glass. Model PTKG-4420 has a green plastic handle with a green silicone insert in the handle and a green whistling-stopper lid. Model PTKB-4420 has a black plastic handle with a black silicone insert in the handle and a black whistling-stopper lid. Both models have a ½" metal band around the glass kettle's neck. "Not for dishwasher" is printed in raised letters underneath the lid.
What to do
Consumers should stop using the product immediately. Customers should either return the product to the retailer or contact Epoca International for instructions on how to return the product for a full refund.. Follow the official notice for full instructions.
