Why it was recalled
The overheating of the water may result in the release of steam, possibly causing the operator is to scald themselves and increasing the risk of injury.
What was recalled
EverGreen Recreational Vehicles, LLC (EverGreen) is recalling certain model year 2013-2015 Bayhill, Lifestyle, Amped, I-Go, Sun Valley, Element, Reactor, and Ever-Lite recreational vehicles manufactured June 1, 2013, to August 31, 2015, equipped with Atwood on-demand water heaters. The affected water heaters have a water and gas valve that may cause the water heater to overheat the water in the hot water supply tap.
What to do
EverGreen will notify owners, and dealers will install a hot water heater rework kit to remedy the safety risk, free of charge. The recall began on January 14, 2016. Owners may contact EverGreen customer service at 1-574-825-4298.. Follow the official notice for full instructions.
