What was recalled

Ferrara Fire Apparatus, Inc. (Ferrara) is recalling certain 2000-2016 Fire Apparatus 100' Rear Mount Platform emergency vehicles. The affected vehicles are equipped with a movable ladder access guardrail that may bend or break under heavy loads.

What to do

Ferrara will notify owners, and service personnel or service centers will install a brace for the mansaver guardrail bar to support the required loads, free of charge.
