An equalizer that is too short in length may cause a failure of the equalizer and/or axle springs, resulting in a possible loss of vehicle control and increasing the risk of a crash.
What was recalled
Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2016-2017 XLR ToyHauler recreational trailers, models XLT23KW and WZXLT23KW. These vehicles were built with axle equalizers that are too long.

Forest River will notify owners, and dealers will install the correct equalizers, free of charge. The recall began on June 28, 2017.
