An overloaded vehicle may cause operator to lose control of vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

What was recalled

Forest River, Inc (Forest River) is recalling certain 2019 Rockport vehicles. The Federal Placard may indicate an incorrect Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR), which can allow the vehicle to be overloaded. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of 49 CFR Part 567, "Certification."

What to do

Forest River has notified owners, and dealers will replace the Federal Placard with a new corrected Placard, free of charge. The recall began January 18, 2018.
