The seat back could release under the shoulder belt load, increasing the risk of injury during a crash.

What was recalled

Forest River Bus, LLC. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2024 Glaval Universal and Mobility Trans Safetbus transit buses, equipped with certain GO-ES Space Saver Foldaway Seats. The recliner mechanism may not engage when the seat back is fully reclined. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 210, "Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages."

What to do

Dealers will inspect and repair the seat, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 22, 2024. Owners may contact Forest River Customer Service at 1-800-348-7440. Forest River's number for this recall is 51-1774.. Follow the official notice for full instructions.
