An unsecured wheelchair can move during transit, increasing the risk of injury.

What was recalled

Gillig, LLC (Gillig) is recalling certain 2025 Low Floor transit buses equipped with QRT-Deluxe and QRT-Max wheelchair restraints. The retractors may not lock, preventing the wheelchair from being properly secured.

What to do

Gillig will work with Q'Straint to replace the retractors, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 16, 2026. Owners may contact Gillig customer service at 1-800-735-1500.. Follow the official notice for full instructions.
