Tread separation may increase the risk of a crash.
What was recalled
Kumho Tire Co., Inc. (“KTCIâ€) Is recalling certain Solus TA11 tires, size 225/60R16. The tire tread may separate. As such, these tires fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 139, "New Pneumatic Radial Tires for Light Vehicles."
What to do
KTCI will either refund the tire purchase price or replace the tires, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 4, 2026. Owners may contact KUSA's customer service at 1-800-445-8646 (Option 2).. Follow the official notice for full instructions.
