The loss of power steering and power braking increases the risk of a crash.

What was recalled

Lion Electric Company (Lion) is recalling certain 2018-2020 Lion C electric school buses. During a sudden braking and change of direction combination, a decrease in the hydraulic system pressure can occur, causing a loss of power steering and power braking.

What to do

Lion will notify owners, and dealers will replace the hydraulic pressure relief valves, free of charge. The recall began February 4, 2020. Owners may contact Lion customer service at 1-855-546-6706.. Follow the official notice for full instructions.
