A parking brake that is released unexpectedly may result in a vehicle roll away, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.

What was recalled

Lion Electric Company (Lion Electric) is recalling certain 2024-2025 LionC school buses. The parking brake may malfunction and allow the lever to be released without pressing the release button.

What to do

Lion Electric will provide inspection instructions to owners, and replace the parking brake levers as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 25, 2024.
