What was recalled
Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC. (MBUSA) is recalling certain 2019 AMG GT63 4MATIC and AMG GT63S 4MATIC vehicles. A wiring harness for the automatic transmission may not be properly secured, allowing it to chafe against the drive shaft and possibly cause an engine stall.
What to do
MBUSA will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the mounting clips and wiring harness, and repair or replace them, as necessary, free of charge. The recall began March 13, 2020.
