Why it was recalled
A hose reel that detaches can become a road hazard and increase the risk of a crash. In addition, the mounting plate can fail suddenly during hose operation, increasing the risk of injury.
What was recalled
Midwest Fire Equipment & Repair Company (Midwest Fire) is recalling certain 2021-2025 All-Poly Series fire trucks. The hose reel mounting plate may crack and fail, which can cause the hose reel to detach from the vehicle.
What to do
Midwest Fire will reinforce the hose reel mounting plate, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 26, 2025. Owners may contact Midwest Fire's customer service at 1-800-344-2059.. Follow the official notice for full instructions.
