Why it was recalled
Mondelez Global received notification from a supplier, Associated Milk Producers, Inc. ( AMPI ), of a voluntary recall of Whey Powder Sweet Type as a precautionary measure due to the potential presence of Salmonella. The recalled whey powder is used as an ingredient in various Mondelez Global human food products.
Class II means using this product may cause temporary or medically reversible health problems; the chance of serious harm is remote.
