The rail gear dragging on the ground can cause a loss of control, increasing the risk of a crash.

What was recalled

Reading Truck Body, LLC (Reading) is recalling certain 2021 Rail Gear HD trucks. Welds may crack and fail, allowing the front rail gear to shift and contact the road.

What to do

Owners are advised not to drive their vehicles until the remedy has been completed. Reading will reweld the joints between the rail gear and chassis, free of charge.
