Binding in the gearbox can cause a loss of steering, increasing the risk of a crash.

What was recalled

Shyft Group (Shyft) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Blue Arc BA4L-800 vehicles. The mounting fasteners may loosen or detach, causing the steering gearbox to bind.

What to do

Shyft will replace the steering gearbox mounting bolts and washers, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 23, 2026. Owners may contact Shyft customer service at 1-800-237-7806. Shyft's number for this recall is 26-01.. Follow the official notice for full instructions.
