Why it was recalled
Soom Foods is recalling its tahini and chocolate tahini halva spread because their manufacturer, Achdut LTD. is recalling its Tahini products of all packages and sizes produced in the following dates: April 7th to May 21st 2018, due to a possible contamination of Salmonella.
Class I is the FDA’s most serious recall level: there is a reasonable probability that using this product will cause serious harm or death.
