WASHINGTON, June 25, 2025, Starway International Group, LLC, in Maspeth, N.Y., is expanding its June 12, 2025, recall of Siluriformes fish products that were produced by an establishment in Vietnam that is not eligible to export Siluriformes to the United States , the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today. The establishment is recalling approximately 15,980 additional pounds of Siluriformes fish products. This expansion includes two additional Siluriformes sausage products that were not covered within the scope of the original recall. The following products are subject to the recall expansion, regardless of expiration date [ view all labels ]: 500-g plastic bag packages containing “Xúc Xích Cá Fish Sausage” with item number “81142104” printed on the label. 500-g plastic bag packaged containing “Xúc Xích Cá Xong Khoi Smoked Fish Sausage” with Item number “81142106” printed on the label. The following Siluriformes fish ball products subject to the June 12, 2025, recall remain subject to this expansion: 16-oz. plastic bag packages containing “Cá Viên Trắng WHITE FISH BALLS” with item number “81142103” printed on the label. 2-kg. plastic bag packages containing “Cá Viên Trắng WHITE FISH BALLS” with item number “81142102” printed on the label. 16-oz. plastic bag packages containing “Cá Viên Chiên FRIED FISH BALLS” with item number “81142101” printed on the label. 2-kg. plastic bag packages containing “Cá Viên Chiên FRIED FISH BALLS” with item number “81142100” printed on the label. The products do not bear an establishment number nor a USDA mark of inspection. These items were shipped to retail locations nationwide. The problem was discovered during FSIS effectiveness checks for Recall 021-2025, when FSIS observed additional items containing ineligible Siluriformes in commerce.
