Brake hoses with missing labels may not be identified in the event of a safety recall, potentially resulting in an unremedied safety issue and an increased risk of a crash or injury.

What was recalled

Streamline Industries Incorporated (Streamline) is recalling certain LA Chopper +2 length ABS Kit Midnight, part number OEM-LA-8211KT-13M and +5 Non ABS Brake Kit Black, part number OEM-LA-8153B-13-B, OEM-BA-801300B12, OEM-BA-501300B16, and OEM-BA-801300B18. The hydraulic brake hoses may be missing the identification label. As such, these brake hoses fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 106, "Brake Hoses."

What to do

Streamline will provide a band with the labeling information, or replace the brake hoses, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 31, 2022. Owners may contact Streamline customer service at 1-800-310-5519.. Follow the official notice for full instructions.
