Why it was recalled
Tires that do not provide sufficient traction increase the risk of a crash.
What was recalled
Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Ltd. (Sumitomo) is recalling certain Dunlop TT93FGP PRO and TT93FGP PRO MS motorcycle tires, size 120/80-12 55J and 100/90-12 49J. During manufacturing, some of the sidewall compound may have contaminated the tread surface, reducing the tire's traction.
What to do
Dealers will replace the tires or provide reimbursement, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on October 7, 2025. Owners may contact Sumitomo customer service at 1-800-845-8378.. Follow the official notice for full instructions.
