The misalignment may cause a reduction or loss of steering control, increasing the risk of a crash.
What was recalled
TAP Worldwide, LLC (TAP) is recalling certain Pro Comp aftermarket Pitman Arms, part numbers 56713B-1, 56714B-1, 56716B-1, 56717B-1, 56715B-1, and DC600. These pitman arms may not be properly machined potentially causing a misalignment between the pitman arm and the steering shaft.
What to do
TAP will notify owners and will replace the pitman arms, free of charge. The recall began October 1, 2018. Owners may contact TAP customer service at 1-888-376-1417.. Follow the official notice for full instructions.
