What was recalled
Terex South Dakota (Terex) is recalling certain model year 2011-2016 HR, HRX, TC, TCX, and SML aerial devices. The affected aerial devices may have inadequate welds at the boom tip leveling sprockets. A failure of these welds may result in the platform tilting unexpectedly.
What to do
Terex will notify owners. Terex will notify owners and provide a leveling sprocket for any unit with a cracked weld on the leveling sprocket or provide a reinforcement kit for any unit without a cracked weld on the leveling sprocket, free of charge.
