WASHINGTON, May 5, 2016 The Grey Plume Provisions, LLC, an Omaha, Neb. establishment, is recalling approximately 471 pounds of charcuterie meat products that were produced, packaged, and distributed without the benefit of federal inspection, the U.S. Department of Agricultures Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today. The salami, soppressata, pepperoni, and chorizo items were packaged on multiple dates between Aug. 4, 2015 and Feb. 11, 2016. The following products are subject to recall: [ View Labels (PDF Only)] 1-lb. packages of Dill Black Pepper Salami with Batch #008 and Best if used by date of Nov. 11, 2016 listed on the label. 1-lb. packages of Fennel Salami with Batch #004, Batch #005, Batch #006, and/or Batch #007 and Best if used by dates of June 22, 2016, Sept. 30, 2016, and/or Oct. 1, 2016 listed on the label. 1-lb. packages of Pepperoni with Batch #005 and Best if used by date of May 4, 2016 listed on the label. 1-lb. packages of Herbes De Provence Salami with Batch #005, and/or Batch #006 and Best if used by dates of May 10, 2016 and/or Sept. 29, 2016 listed on the label. 1-lb. packages of Soppressata with Batch #005 and Best if used by date of May 4, 2016 listed on the label. 1-lb. packages of Red Wine Garlic Salami with Batch #005, and/or Batch #006 and Best if used by dates of May 4, 2016 and/or Sept. 30, 2016 listed on the label. 1-lb. packages of Gin and Juice Salami with Batch #004 and Best if used by date of Sept. 26, 2016 listed on the label. 1-lb. packages of Chorizo with Batch #006 and Best if used by date of Sept. 29, 2016 listed on the label. 1-lb. packages of Kaffir Lime Salami with Batch #002, Batch #004, and/or Batch #005 and Best if used by dates of July 26, 2016, March 26, 2016 and/or Oct. 21, 2016 listed on the label.
