Why it was recalled
The Hershey Company has issued a voluntary recall of three products sold under the SoFit brand after a supplier who provides sunflower seeds for the products expanded its recall on June 1. Products have the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.
Class I is the FDA’s most serious recall level: there is a reasonable probability that using this product will cause serious harm or death.
