Why it was recalled
The products were recalled because a container of Kroger Garlic Powder tested positive for Salmonella during routine FDA retail sampling. Out of an abundance of caution, the firm is recalling all items produced on the filling line between sanitation cycles.
Class I is the FDA’s most serious recall level: there is a reasonable probability that using this product will cause serious harm or death.
