What was recalled

Editors Note, Oct. 25, 2019: Ready-To-Eat (RTE) poultry products included in the Tip Top Poultry, Inc. recall had a n original production establishment number of Est. P-17453 inside the USDA mark of inspection. FSIS wants to make sure consumers are aware that some of the recalled products could bear a different establishment number on the label due to further distribution and processing by other establishments. Consumers are urged to carefully review the information, list of retailers, and labels included in the Tip Top Poultry, Inc. recall release. Editor's Note, Oct. 8, 2019: This release is being updated to alert consumers that the recalled ready-to-eat poultry products were used in additional products. Some of the products may have been served from the deli counter in grocery stores. A list of retailers can be found in the linked spreadsheet . Additional labels have also been made available here . FSIS will update the retailer list and labels as more information becomes available. Some products that may have been affected by this recall are listed on the Food and Drug Administrations (FDA) website at https://www.fda.gov/safety/recalls-market-withdrawals-safety-alerts . WASHINGTON, Sept. 28, 2019 Tip Top Poultry, Inc, a Rockmart, Ga., establishment, is recalling an undetermined amount of ready-to-eat (RTE) poultry products that may be adulterated with Listeria monocytogenes , the U.S. Department of Agricultures Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today. The frozen cooked, diced or shredded, RTE chicken products were produced between January 21, 2019 and September 24, 2019. The products subject to recall can be found in this spreadsheet .
