What was recalled

Vicinity Motor Corporation (Vicinity) is recalling certain 2020-2021 Vi38 vehicles. The power steering gear box may become damaged, resulting in a loss of steering control.

What to do

Dealers will inspect and replace the steering gear box assembly, if necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed in March 2022.
