Why it was recalled

A high pressure fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.

What was recalled

Watson Hopper (Watson Hopper) is recalling certain X12 Power Modules. The fuel tubes between the fuel rail and the injector for cylinders 4, 5 and 6 may be susceptible to cracking, resulting in a high pressure fuel leak.

What to do

On engines with 75 miles or less, Cummins dealers will install vibration isolators to the fuel tubes. Engines with more than 75 miles will receive new fuel tubes with vibration isolators, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 21, 2022.
