What was recalled
Webasto Charging Systems, Inc (Webasto) is recalling certain AeroVironment TurboCord and TurboDock/TurboDX electric vehicle charging systems. Capacitors within these charging systems may fail, possibly resulting in a shock hazard or a fire.
What to do
Webasto will notify owners, and field service representatives will replace all TurboCord and TurboDock/TurboDX charging systems, free of charge. The recall began September 19, 2018. Owners may contact Webasto customer service at 1-888-516-6264.. Follow the official notice for full instructions.
